bold brands
Designing brands means to create something timeless and elegant for all platforms. A balance must be found between a client’s requirements, high quality standards, market research and future challenges.
Among other things, I develop corporate designs, design manuals and provide fresh advice on emerging topics – once or over many years. This guarantees the brands a consistent quality. I also take care of the internal communication – the employees carry the brand!
divine design
Catholic church city centre, Cologne
The spectrum of projects for the 26 inner-city parishes in Cologne‘s city centre ranges from design, communication and marketing for special events, exhibition design and guidance systems, workshops for employees and community representatives to strategic advice for the most famous church in the world, the Cologne Cathedral.
I know the church is a hot topic in Cologne. My work supports mainly the church goers and the volunteers who keep it running and who are proud of their home parishes. All involved parties must sit down to discuss it, advise, be advised and shape it. Leaving is not an option!
catchy campaigns
That’s advertisement at its best! A campaign goes out into the public, regardless of the channel and the competition never sleeps. So, the focus of my work is on fantastic ideas and eye-catchers.
It‘s great to drive through a city and see the campaign everywhere. Or open a magazine and read the ad designed here. Or getting lost on social media and liking the posts or the edited reels.
Yes, I can be enthusiastic about the work, but I am aware that I have responsibility. I am free and independent and can do a lot for you while remaining true to myself.
meaningful marketing
Global Peter Drucker Forum, Vienna
Leading marketing as a chief marketing officer here means remotely leading an international team from Cologne, managing international relationships and all external channels (email, social media, webpage, blog ...) with content and campaigns. It is about giving speakers reach via blog posts, coordinating the advertising partners worldwide, evaluating statistics and driving participant registration and finally – building a community.
The team and I established the Forum as the best international exchange about management and leadership with thought leaders, CEOs, the young generation and Peter Drucker fans.
symbolic storytelling
I love to sum up a multitude of messages with a shape, a colour, a slogan, finally defined as an appearance. The goal here is to create something that is properly informing, sometimes entertaining and carried by a lightness – to do so without words, to be understandable internationally, all the better!
A sign becomes a symbol, a series of images becomes a story, pictograms become a guidance system – there is always room for your own associations. With a blink!
precious prints
Print is not dead! It runs parallel to the digital possibilities. The scope of the various print objects has decreased and the referral to digital channels has increased.
And the future? Flipping through a magazine still provides you with information faster than a video or podcast. If these media do not achieve the speed and individual selection and depth of information, printed medium will remain valid.
But we need totally new ways of distributing information due to new user behaviour. Do you need an idea? Call me!
Schiller’s space
The key point in Friedrich von Schiller´s letters ‚On the Aesthetic Education of Man‘ is that art and culture enable us to become ‚free and autonomous‘. People involved in and surrounding themselves with aesthetics and such thus have the‚ free space for creativity, innovation and even revolution’.
Over the years, I have enjoyed expanding my work to include (3rd) spaces. Here again, the focus is on effectively communicating the message and let the audience step into a story: regardless of whether it is signage, an entire exhibition concept, ideas for meeting rooms, running maker spaces or setting up a temporary identity of a huge conference space. Feel free to come in!
fascinating films
My entry point into film was when a young director asked me to take the still photos, design the film titles, posters and marketing material for her first feature film.
I consider the medium of film to be by far the one with the lowest inhibition threshold; every audience can be addressed. The story can be remembered forever, role models can emerge, or it can take on an educational function. A film is truly immersive. That will be topped by VR experiences with interactive features – for leisure and business.
I work with professionals who make videos for the clients based on my briefing and art direction.
tailored tunes
We have all heard of AI agents and can imagine that in the future we will no longer be typing or clicking on our devices but will be talking to them. A whole new audio world will emerge. Here too there will be logos: audio logos, a signature melody or tailored tunes.
We are working on this and have already composed an audio logo for a client. Interested? You are very welcome to walk this new path with us and learn to listen. Get ahead of the wave!
